Using Afromart

Afromart is an online marketplace where buyers discover products and hire services from independent sellers and service providers. You must provide accurate information when registering, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use the platform lawfully.

You choose your account type when you register. Buyers browse, order and pay. Sellers list products and services, fulfil orders and manage their store.

Accounts and seller verification

Each person maintains one account with the roles they have selected. Sellers may be asked to complete profile information and submit verification credentials before full selling features are unlocked. Afromart may withhold or remove verification from accounts that provide false or misleading information.

Payments

Buyers pay for orders using card payments through our payment provider or by direct bank transfer to the seller's account. Sellers confirm receipt of bank transfers. Card payments are held on behalf of the order and released to the seller according to the platform's payout process once the order is completed.

Sellers may request payouts of their delivered earnings through the payout ledger. Payout requests are reviewed and processed by Afromart.

Orders, disputes and refunds

Buyers and sellers are expected to communicate honestly and fulfil orders as described. If an order arrives damaged, is delayed or does not match its description, the buyer can open a dispute from the order page and both parties work toward a resolution with Afromart's support team available to help.

Refunds, where agreed, are arranged between the buyer and seller and recorded on the order once completed.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Afromart to sell illegal goods, misrepresent products or services, harass other users, manipulate reviews or ratings, or attempt to circumvent the platform's payment or verification processes. Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be announced in the app, and continuing to use Afromart after a change means you accept the updated terms.
